Easter

A few days before Easter we made some Easter cookies in shapes of tulips, bunnies, butterflies, and of course Easter eggsAllie was so excited to help her mama make cookies

she loved mixing the cookie doe

and eating it too! lol

I coudnt believe how hard she concentrated on rolling out the doe. She really wanted to do a good job!:)

Easter Day...

The easter bunny came after when we went to church and, with a little help, Allie found her basket behind the rocking chair. - Unfortunately, we did not get a picture of Allie in her Easter dress.

The Easter Bunny brought some chalk (Allie is trying really hard to get that chalk out of the bag:) She also received the movie " Tangled", a Sponge Bob Sprinkler, and a pair of Crocks

We went over for Easter Dinner at Allison's Great Grandparents house. She went on her very first easter egg hunt, but she didnt have to do so much "hunting" with grma Brenda helping her. lol

A Fun Visit with Grandma Mary and Gmpa Al

Grandpa Al had some work in Appleton on April 4th thru April 6th. grandma Mary went with him and set up a visit with us. We met up on the 5th and she took us out to eat for lunch and after that we went swimming at the hotel they were staying at.

After Allie had accidentally gone under a couple times, here is a pic when she almost went under again. She has her "oh no" face on - and so do I :0

she loved the hot tub more than the pool. probably becasuse she was able to have some control with being able to walk on the hot tub seat area - plus, the hot tub wasnt as hot as most

We were swimming for about 2 hours!

Always on the Move

Allison is now 22 months old... She is always "on the move" and loves to sing and dance and tell her (jibber jabbering) stories.

About a month ago, She made up her own little song about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich (one of her favorite snacks). - lets just say she can be quite the little entertainer. I almost forgot to mention that she is a HUGE Barney fan. April 8 2011 - Allie just figured out how to climb up our neighbors swing set. - I was hoping that would have taken a couple months before she could climb up there.

So, now her favorite thing to do is crawl up on the right side of the swing set and run to the opposite end and pretty much throw herself down the slide. lol She is a little dare-devil **she is going to give me grey hair!**

April 10, 2011 - We went over to visit Papa Jimmy and Memaw. Allie spotted a silly hat in their garage and pranced around with it on for quite some time.

Allie had received two little four wheelers last year for Christmas and this is the first time she took it for a spin. We have one at our home and papa and memaw left one at their place. Allie was always so afraid of it when we had it in the house. - Its amazing what a different atmosphere will do
