Allison is 18 months old

My gosh! were does the time go... Allie is now 1 1/2 years old. I cant believe it when I look at her and see how much she has grown. Now, I understand why people say the first year is so precious! I get all teary-eyed when I look back at photos or even think about when she was just a little baby and so dependent on her mama... I suppose i will just have to get used to it and take one day at a time.
Anyway, I took some pics of her today... most of them outside because it was so nice today.

Allison had her 18 month check up yesterday. She is 31 1/2 inches tall and weighed in at 22.8 lbs. She didnt care too much for the doctor visit but she was still pretty good, especially since we were confined to the little exam room for a little over an hour!! She kept on reaching for the door handle and saying bye-bye (with a smile:)

Meeting Santa

Allie met Santa for the first time... She spotted him from a distance and started saying "HO HO HO" but once we got closer she grew extremely hesitant to go close to him. - That may be beacuse a little boy (that was on santas lap) was screeming while his parents took his picture. lol - When it came time for her to sit on his lap, I was holding her and she did not want to let go, but santa grabbed a coloring book and started making-up a story... she settled right down and sat on his lap.

Halloween

We ended up not going anywhere on Holloween due to Allie having a cold, but her uncle Josh and aunt Tricia stopped over to visit the Wed after Holloween.
So, I decided to dress Allie in her costume (about 20 minutes before Josh and Tricia were expected to arrive). I tried to draw a puppy face (as you can see) but it didnt work out very well. lol

Allie never wants to leave aunt Tricia's side when she visits.
I thought this picture was so cute because Allie has her hand on her aunties cute prego belly.

Allie got a Holloween book, teddy grams, and some other gram cracker treats
*Thanks Josh and Tricia

Allison and the Laundry Basket

Today, we made Allie a doctors appt. ... She has been fighting a nasty rash (that is on her bottom) off-and-on for two plus months. The Doc ended up giving us some over the counter cream - I hope it works!

These pitures are before the doctor appt. - We were in her room and putting her folded clothes and blankies away. Well, once she noticed her blankie, she hopped right into the laundry basket and told me that she was going na-nite. LOL I couldn't pass-up the opportunity to take a picture so I told her, "stay there and dont move". I went to go get the camera and tried to take a picture and then noticed that I didnt have the picture card in it! So I went to get the picture card and told her the the same thing, by my amazement, she listened - she never moved - she must have known how cute she was or mayby she was just that tired cuz she went down for a nap soon after this

Our Wedding Day

Neil and I were married on September 11, 2010 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. We were originally trying to plan a destination wedding, in Jan. 2011, but for us, it was going to be too much of a hassle (especially since we have a one year old child:) We couldn't be happier with our decision that we made. Now, we have so many cherished memories with our family and friends (whom may not have been able to go to a destination wedding).

We have so many pictures... here are just a few.

Our daughter Allison was our flower girl -

My dad was holding a "very" happy Allie before we received the signal to walk down the isle. All of a sudden, out of the blue, she was screaming bloody murder and only wanted me to hold her. I finally realized what had happened - The two pins on my dad's boutonniere were poking her! He felt terrible, but it wasn't his fault. One of my personal attendants told me that she will take Allie so I didn't have to hold her while I was walking down the isle. So, Stacy was holding her and then Allie noticed all the people sitting in the church. Stacy said, "I think she will walk down the isle, should we try it". Well, we tried it and as you can see, she walked down the isle - and twirled down the isle , and waved and said hi to to everyone as she walked down the isle. It took allot for me to hold back my tears on that moment.

My dad and I were suppose to wait until Allie was past a certain pew, well that could have taken forever, because she was taking a few steps and then she would twirl around and go back and forth a few times. She was loving all the attention. It was at that time that I realized my daughter was "steeling the show" LOL and it didn't bother me one bit!:)
I love this picture of when my dad was giving me away, because it gets Neil's father Allen in the picture too. By the way, Allie was still twirling with her dress and flower basket behind me. - I am so glad that my uncle Daryl was recording our special day!

We are now Husband and Wife

We had quite a few pictures taken outside, but didn't get as many scenic pics as I would have liked. (it was a rainy day and I wanted to be as close to the Church door as possible! - I am extremely pleased with the pics that we did get. I like this one alot with the Church steeple

My side of the family - Josh, Elijah, my dad, stepmom Jane, Tricia, and Amanda

My side of the family - brother Josh and his wife Tricia, my mom and step dad John

Neils side of the family - His dad Allen, nephews Darin and Derek, his sister Melissa, mom Mary, and brother Charlie

Neil's Groomsmen - Tyson, Tannor, Josh, Wade, Charlie, and Luke
Love this picture

My Bridesmaids - Tiffany, Kenzie, Melissa, Kristi (matron of honor), Amanda, Tricia, and of course our little flower girl Allison

My Grandma Pat had sewn some indigo blue ribbon on Allie's socks - I wanted her to have a little blue to match with the bridal party. Thank You Grandma
I need to thank my personal attendants, my cousin Heather and good friend Stacy.
Heather, you were a huge help... If I remember correctly, you even changed Allie's diaper before it was time to walk down the isle. Now, what personal attendant can say they have done that! LOL thank you so much
Stacy, you were a huge help also... You started playing personal attendant kinda early - like the night before our wedding! when I forgot to bring my dress along with me on the night of rehearsal! I still cant believe that I forgot my dress. hahaha It was awesome that you volunteered to go to my house (that evening) and pick it up so it could be at the church, the night before our big day!:)
FYI - We are still working on Thank You Cards! It's hard with a one year old, and doing a house renovation at the same time since we have been married. PLUS, I am kind of a procrastinator, so I'm sure that is not helping. hehehe

Mama's Little Helper

Yesterday, was my cleaning day. After I was done sweeping I forgot to shut the closet door all the way, and as you can see Allie apparently didnt think that I did a good enough job:) lol

I was laughing so hard because she was so serious with trying to better her sweeping skills. -
I will have her trained to do some house work soon enough! hahaha
This was also taken yesterday, after her nap. I had given her a bath and then put piggy tails in her hair - I cant believe how fast her hair has been growing

Now that Allison is ONE...

Now that Allie is ONE, she is way more vocal, and let me tell ya, she will let you know what she wants and what she doesnt want! Neil and I think that she is gunna be a talker - big time! She does alot of babbling, and it sounds like her own little language.
Things Allie likes/loves;
She loves to brush her teeth.
dance with her jelly shoes on the hard floor - I tell her to tap dance and she does a good job at it!
Goin outside - she runs over to the next door neighbors swing set every time she gets a chance
Water/swimming
.......... lets just say that their is not much that this little girl doesnt like or even hesitant to try:)

Allie is now 29.5 inches and almost 21 lbs
OH! Cant forget that she does LOVE to be read to

4th of July Weekend

July 3rd - it was sooo hot this day, and Allie wanted nothing but to be outside.
So, what do you do but fill the little pool up and play in the water. The only thing is - Loki (our dog) kept on trying to get in this little pool with allie, and he also wanted her little duck she is holding... Allie was more than happy to share too! :)

July 4th - We went and spent the afternoon by Allie's great aunt Susie's. We had brought our little pool and Susie also had a little pool and a big ball that was like a sprinkler. Allie absolutely loved that thing. - On the picture above is Neil watching Allie and Susies grandchildren, Macy, Lilly, and Cole. - With all of their running around, they are having a much needed snack before supper.

Allison's Birthday Day "Week"

Allison's 1st bday was June 15th. It was a very rainy day, so we didnt do much of anything. The next day was clear weather and I have been wanting to take her to her aunt Amanda's to visit. So, Allie and I went there during the day. Amanda gave Allie her bday gifts... she really likes her bubble machine. Then, we went to a little horse ranch and Allie got to see a goat, donkeys, cats, and lots of horses...

at first, she was not sure what to think about the pony, but it didnt take her long to warm up to it ...

before I knew it, Allison was on her first pony ride!
Thanks Amanda and John, we had a blast!

**************************************************************
June 19th - Allisons Hawaiian themed birthday party was at great grandma Pat's river front property. We couldnt have asked for a nicer day. All of Allison's grandparents were there and some of my cousins, with their little ones. Uncle Josh and Aunt tricia were also able to join the fun:)

Lilly and Gabby were Allisons little helpers with opening some of the gifts

Great Grandma Pat gave Allison a princess chair - she didnt sit very long in it because she wanted to open more gifts!

She was definitely the happiest little birthday girl! - this is the "cheezy" smile that she does when she gets super excited. lol

This was her favorite gift - disney bowling ball pins from Carter

Allie had a wipe-out on one of her new toys - no tears though!

After opening all of her presents everyone sang happy birthday and then Allie got to dig in to her cake. She absolutely LOVED her cake
Allie and Jackson - Jackson, who is 5 months old, just loved Allie. He would get all excited when Allie would come over by him or look at him. It was really cute! Jackson's mom was telling me that he is already in 12 month clothing and weighs 20 lbs:) We just had to laugh because Allie is 20 lbs and in 12 month clothes.

Carter and Allie give each other a really sloppy goodbye kiss

6/20 - The end to Allie's Bday week... we went to her great aunt Susie's and we played outside for hours and hours. She had a blast... she recieved a cute polkadot swimsuit coverup and a sundress too from Susie.
