Allison 10 Months Old

Sunday, April 18th Neil, Allie, and I went to my cousin Samantha's Confirmation Party. Samantha (sitting on floor) and Rachel (in chair) had went to get some old toys of theirs from when they were little, so Allie had something to play with.

Grandma Brenda, Allison, and Great Aunt Debbie at Samantha's Confirmation Party -

I caught them giving Allison Cake. Allie has a little mouth full of it, in this pic and a little on her bottom lip too. - I think this is the first time allie has ever tried cake, but then again, who knows what those grandparents treat her to when they watch her!:)

Lets get down to what Allison can do at 10 Months old -

Well, Allie has taken some of her first steps at about 9 1/2 months. On 4/16, she decided to conquer this walking thing, and boy was she sucessful! No matter how many times she would fall, she would get right back up into the standing position. She doesn't crawl much at all, anymore

Besides the new biggest thing - "walking" - here are some other things she can do:
She LOVES to snuggle stuffed animals, waves bye-bye, can blow kisses, she can smell her stinky feet, can say a-boo (peek-a-boo), says dada, says maba (mama), ... last but not least, she can wear piggy tails!

Oh, and she has 2 front lower teeth and 1 right upper with the left upper ready to poke through any day now.

4/14/2010 - Allison's First Time at a Park

Maddie and Allie swinging - It was a really nice day out, so Allie and I met up with Heather, Jack, and Maddie at Arlington Park

Allie's first time playing in sand. She loved the texture of it. She would take a hand full and make a fist and then she would watch how it would slide thru the cracks of her fingers

I think Allie could sure use a little coaching from Maddie on how to smile for the camera! lol

4/10/2010 - Allison's Version of Peek-a-Boo

Neil was telling me that she was playing the peek-a-boo game with him the other day. I missed it because, I was out grocery shopping and she wouldn't do it for me when I got back. So, the next day I tried and she was all for it! - I was peek-a-booed out after this

4/8/2010 - More Gifts from the Easter Bunny!

Aunt Tricia and Uncle Josh stopped over to give Allie her Easter present on 4/8
Allie is not quite sure what we are trying to get her to do here.
Here she got the idea
**incase you havent noticed, in the previous picture - Allie's undershirt flap is exposed. Sometimes I just get sick of fighting her twisting and turning every time I change her diaper! haha Oh well:)
Allie received a cute animal book, a toy that hangs from a door knob (she really likes that one), bunny ears, and a pair of super cute sunglasses.

Easter

Allie checkin out all the goodies in her easter basket/bucket.

Momma put some of the basket stuffing on Allie's head - she didnt seem to mind:)

FINALLY she noticed the camera

This is what Allie was doing while I was blogging. She wasnt just sucking on her bottle...
she was watching American Idol too. What can we say - she is a fan! After she was done with her bottle (that she wanted to hold herself) she stood up on her chair and started bouncing on it... well, I had to put an end to that. LOL

Grandma Mary and Grandpa Al came to visit us on Easter Weekend. We had a great time catching-up.

4/1/2010 - A Beautiful Day!

Today, was a beautiful day! The temperature got to 78 degrees. Allie and I went to go visit my aunt Susie and we spent that visiting time outside.

I had a huge blanket for Allie to play on but she preferred the grass. She was absolutely loving it:)

I got on the blanket and she crawled over and started blowing on my belly to give me belly farts - This is her new thing her and her daddy started doing the other night and we laughed so hard:)
After lots of play, Allie decided to just kick back and put her feet up. She sat in her stroller for about a half hour like this - she is just so silly
