1/30/10 - The Happiest Lil' Girl Ever...

1/27/2010 - Visiting with Jack and Maddie

Allie and I went to go visit with Heather, Jack, and Maddie...

When we first got there, Allie just sat and stared at Maddie.

I think that she was being a little shy, but once Heather got the

little play table in Allie's site, she opened up, because she recognized

the little table (we have the same one). So her and Maddie played, but

soon Maddie was like, this is my toy, and was pushing Allie away from her toy. lol

- at least nobody got a black eye or fat lip -

Jack was having a blast playing peek-a-boo with Allie. I swear that she giggled for 5 minutes straight, while they were playing! They seemed to all have a good time together. We'll all have to visit again soon.

1/24/10 - Grandma Brenda turns "50"

It was Grandma Brenda's Bday today... So, grmpa John and Grandma Brenda came over to visit for a couple hours. Allie loved having their company and had to show-off her crawling and standing moves to grandpa John.

1/25/10 - Long nap = Happy Baby

Allison took a nice 2 hour nap today! - This is very unusual, lately -

When she first awoke, I could hear her screeching and babbling (this is not unusual), but I wasnt lucky enough to get that on camera:( instead I got her panting like a puppy - for some reason, when she gets excited, she either screeches or does the panting thing. lol

1/19/10 - Visiting with Jackson

Allie and I went to visit my cousin Kristi, her husband Craig, and their baby

boy, Jackson James, who was born on Jan. 10th. - 7lbs 12 oz and 19 1/2 inches long - OH! and I Cant forget Zoe (their dog), she is adapting very well to their new addition to the family.

Allison was crawling all over the place... she loves to explore - and when she gets excited- plug your ears - she loves to scream! lol

Growing up too fast

Allison, as you know, just started crawling on Jan. 3rd! AND NOW she is already pulling herself up on her little chairs and the video below she has pulled herself up on a baby heat resistant gate that we got for christmas! I could not believe what I was seeing. LOL I dont believe that she should be doin this so fast... I mean come on she just started crawling a couple days ago and really didnt get that much practice at it cuz she has been sick the last couple days, but anyway I just happened to get a little video of her in action. play the video below.

She is just growing so fast! At least she still likes to cuddle - for now

Allie feeling icky

On Jan. 3rd Allison started coming down with a cold... so she hasn't been doing much crawling, she mostly wanted to just be held and rocked all thru the evening. She maybe had a total of 3 1/2 hours of sleep and at 4:30 a.m. she must have figured that she cant sleep so why not play! I have a recording of her playing but it was too dark and you cant even see her. It was really cute!

At around 6:00 a.m. on Jan. 4th, she started getting REALLY fussy (even after I gave her Tylenol). She slept a total 3 hrs. between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. and was running a fever throughout the day that was between 100 and 102 - This little girl was miserable! - I made a Dr.'s Apt. for 5:30 p.m. so her daddy could come along...turns out she has a double ear infection along with a cold. So she is now on antibiotics and instead giving her Infant Tylenol the doctor said to try Infant Motrin Ibuprofen. The Ibuprofen seemed to work better because about 10 minutes after giving it to her she was able to sleep (almost through the whole night:)
That made for a much better day today! She still is not feeling the greatest and is cranky, and when rocking and bouncing her does not seem to work, I decided to turn on SpongeBobSquare Pants... I think the video below speaks for itself. lol

Happy 2010

I hope everyone had a happy New Year! We stayed home New Years Eve ... We decided to get Grandma and Grandpa Schuelke to watch Allison New Years Day, so Neil and I could go have an outing...

When we got back home the next day they told us that Allie crawled about 3ft! - I just knew she was going to crawl on New Years - Anyway I wasnt home at the time so I couldnt take any video footage. However, Grandma and Grandpa Marohl came over to visit, today, and I thought I was taking a picture but apparently I had the camera on video. That is why the video starts out sideways

Neil just got home from fishing and had yet to see Allie crawl this much. She crawled right to him and was screeching with so much excitement that she fell on her tummy a couple times but then got right back on track crawling towards daddy. It was so cute! lol
