Allison and the Laundry Basket
Today, we made Allie a doctors appt. ... She has been fighting a nasty rash (that is on her bottom) off-and-on for two plus months. The Doc ended up giving us some over the counter cream - I hope it works!
These pitures are before the doctor appt. - We were in her room and putting her folded clothes and blankies away. Well, once she noticed her blankie, she hopped right into the laundry basket and told me that she was going na-nite. LOL I couldn't pass-up the opportunity to take a picture so I told her, "stay there and dont move". I went to go get the camera and tried to take a picture and then noticed that I didnt have the picture card in it! So I went to get the picture card and told her the the same thing, by my amazement, she listened - she never moved - she must have known how cute she was or mayby she was just that tired cuz she went down for a nap soon after this
Our Wedding Day
Neil and I were married on September 11, 2010 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. We were originally trying to plan a destination wedding, in Jan. 2011, but for us, it was going to be too much of a hassle (especially since we have a one year old child:) We couldn't be happier with our decision that we made. Now, we have so many cherished memories with our family and friends (whom may not have been able to go to a destination wedding).
We have so many pictures... here are just a few.
Our daughter Allison was our flower girl -
My dad was holding a "very" happy Allie before we received the signal to walk down the isle. All of a sudden, out of the blue, she was screaming bloody murder and only wanted me to hold her. I finally realized what had happened - The two pins on my dad's boutonniere were poking her! He felt terrible, but it wasn't his fault. One of my personal attendants told me that she will take Allie so I didn't have to hold her while I was walking down the isle. So, Stacy was holding her and then Allie noticed all the people sitting in the church. Stacy said, "I think she will walk down the isle, should we try it". Well, we tried it and as you can see, she walked down the isle - and twirled down the isle , and waved and said hi to to everyone as she walked down the isle. It took allot for me to hold back my tears on that moment.
My dad and I were suppose to wait until Allie was past a certain pew, well that could have taken forever, because she was taking a few steps and then she would twirl around and go back and forth a few times. She was loving all the attention. It was at that time that I realized my daughter was "steeling the show" LOL and it didn't bother me one bit!:)
I love this picture of when my dad was giving me away, because it gets Neil's father Allen in the picture too. By the way, Allie was still twirling with her dress and flower basket behind me. - I am so glad that my uncle Daryl was recording our special day!

We are now Husband and Wife

We had quite a few pictures taken outside, but didn't get as many scenic pics as I would have liked. (it was a rainy day and I wanted to be as close to the Church door as possible! - I am extremely pleased with the pics that we did get.

Heather, you were a huge help... If I remember correctly, you even changed Allie's diaper before it was time to walk down the isle. Now, what personal attendant can say they have done that! LOL thank you so much
Stacy, you were a huge help also... You started playing personal attendant kinda early - like the night before our wedding! when I forgot to bring my dress along with me on the night of rehearsal! I still cant believe that I forgot my dress. hahaha It was awesome that you volunteered to go to my house (that evening) and pick it up so it could be at the church, the night before our big day!:)
FYI - We are still working on Thank You Cards! It's hard with a one year old, and doing a house renovation at the same time since we have been married. PLUS, I am kind of a procrastinator, so I'm sure that is not helping. hehehe
